I am an artist and glass craftswoman, French and living in U-K since 1995, in Fine Arts since 1988.
The Journeyman’s Award was given to me by The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters for Glass in 1998
I have created designs and worked for a variety of techniques from leaded lights, leaded and painted traditional stained glass windows, to more contemporary techniques such as fusing and research to apply the latest glass science development to my designs.
I used double glazing as a mean to creation suitable for contemporary sites.
This diversity of techniques has been applied to different kinds of environments, from churches, to private commissions, community based projects and public buildings.
my artwork:
architectural Glass , an art built of glass and colours, with natural light, as ubiquitous as seasons:
dominant, muted, subtle and far-reaching as far as your soul or the poetry of the subject of the artwork leads you.
Glass may become a view outside the ordinary course of life, a transmitter and receiver of energies in a form outside the ordinary course of life, of preternatural abstraction; of preternatural sensation and significance in suspension, elevation and in extension, projection, reverberation, transparency and translucency.
Glass is a volume in all the dimensions in time, space, body, and mass.
photographs are my perception of environment recorded as events in the creative process. I started with photography as a Paris’ suburban teenager .
illustrations and writting (in French) are for keeping my creativity challenged, looking into a field a little bit more interactive with my French identity and live with my aspiration recollecting past experience.
paintings are the lingering stones of my love for colour and mind-blowing abstract subjects visually interpreted.
